Ginger and Turmeric Tea Every Day Anyone?

Here's a quick recipe on how to make sure you get all the ginger you'll need, day after day, without having to remake it from scratch daily.

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 Gallon of Water

1/2 lb of Fresh Ginger (sliced 1/2" thick)

8-10 Turmeric Roots (cut into 1/4 pieces)

SIMPLE DIRECTIONS:

Bring water to a boil on medium/high heat, then simmer. It takes about 25 minutes, in hot water, to simmer long enough to extract all the phytochemicals into the water.

Turmeric, when sliced, only takes 5 minutes in simmering water to extract curcumin. I'd suggest adding it to your ginger water for the duration of the last 5 minutes of simmering. Once that's done, you'll have ready tea water to be reheated and used with different additives.

Once its done, add the amount of water that may have evaporated, to still get your half gallon.

By adding 1 mint tea bag, a couple of slices of mango, 1/2 of a lemon's juice to a 10oz cup of the tea recipe, one acquires:

* Lemon's vitamin c and phytochemical profile, * Ginger's gingerols, * Mint's calming affect, * Turmeric's Curcumin. * Green tea's Epigallo Catechin Gallate (EGCG), and * Mango for preventing macular degeneration, digestive, skin and immune health.

Note: the combination of EGCG and curcumin has an unparalleled effect on the immune system response and it's inflammatory responses.

Don't just drink for pleasure; Drink to Life. #iamkalmesewell
