PLAY "UVE" WITH YOUR FAMILY AND MAKE THIS QUARANTINE TIME HEALTHY AND FUN!


HEALTH:

Right now people all over the world are discovering how important it is to have a strong, healthy body.


Diets are great for weight loss, but dieting without training for strength results in reduced bone density, increased probability of injury, increases hormone concerns and weakens the musculoskeletal system overall(which is responsible for holding your body together). Working out can be a GREAT family game, and can prevent all kinds of stress-related conditions, as well as the aforementioned concerns.


The recent quarantine has greatly restricted our abilities to burn calories. Many of us will certainly struggle with our health after this is over, with so little physical activity, and it is up to us ourselves to take better care of the only bodies we will ever have.


So let's break out those old Uno cards to play UVE: UNO VERSIÓN EJERCICIO!


NEEDS:

1. A deck of Uno cards

2. A timer

3. Ample water

4. A positive, competitive attitude


HOW TO PLAY:

It starts like Uno: everyone gets 7 cards, then flip one card off the deck to identify the color. Flip a coin to see who goes first. Winner chooses in the next game.


Play is done clockwise and up to 8 peoplecan play.


You have to do however many number of reps that show up on your competitors' cards:


NOVICE:

BLUE=DEEP SQUATS YELLOW=CRUNCHES RED=PUSHUPS GREEN=MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS


If you cannot complete your appointed card reps in under 30 seconds, you have to pull three cards and continue playing.


If YOU pull a red 9 means that the next player has to do 9 pushups (knee pushups for beginners) in under 30 seconds. After the player completes the exercise, they must play a card from their hand of cards.


COMPETITIVE:

BLUE=SQUATS

YELLOW=CLAPPING PUSHUPS

RED=DEEP SQUAT JUMPS

GREEN=DIAMOND PUSHUPS


If you cannot complete your appointed card reps in under 25 seconds, you have to pull three cards and continue playing.



ADVANCED:

BLUE=DEEP SQUAT JUMPS YELLOW=BURPEES RED=PULLUPS GREEN=DIVE BOMBER PUSHUPS


If you cannot complete your appointed card reps in under 25 seconds, you have to pull three cards and continue playing.


HULK LOGAN LEVEL:

BLUE=2×REP PUSHUPS

YELLOW=3×REP JUMPING JACKS

RED=4×REP HIGH KNEES

GREEN=4×REP MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS


If you cannot complete your appointed card reps in under 20 seconds, you have to pull three cards and continue playing.


CREATE AN EVEN PLAYING FIELD!

Mom can play at the COMPETITIVE level, son can play at the ADVANCED level, and two friends can play at the NOVICE level, all in the same game.

Choose the level that works best for your group.

Advance and compete at similar levels!

MORE RULES:


If you pull a color card that says "draw 2" or "draw 4", you can use them against others to keep them working and running out of cards.

If you cannot complete your appointed exercise reps in under 30 seconds, you have to pull three cards.


Skip cards can be used to avoid having to do the reps.


Reverse cards send the exercise responsibility back to the one who played the last card. So, if I play a yellow 5 and it's your responsibility to do the 5 crunches, you can make me do the 5 crunches with the reverse card.


If the last card in hand is a reverse, and draw card, or wild card, then that player has to draw 3 cards and continue playing.


If the person who has one card left does not say "UNO!" loud enough for each participant to hear, and before the next player plays, then that player has to draw 3 cards and continue playing.


TWO PLAYER GAME:


Head to head is faster. Challenge yourselves. It can get serious in a best out of 3.😁

CARDS CAN STACK IN TWO PLAYER GAMES. If I play a black draw 4, then I get to choose the color. If I add a draw two, then you have to pull all 6 cards, and it's still my turn to play again...maybe another draw 4, then a yellow 9 so you'll have to do 9 crunches on top of drawing 10 cards straight.
